What it does

Three things, well.
Inside the browser.

See every domain

Every host a page contacts, named on first sight.

ShieldMap classifies each domain — first-party, CDN, ad, social, fingerprinter — as the page loads. Nothing to start.

Opt out, quietly

Your preference, broadcast on every request.

Global Privacy Control attaches automatically. Compliant sites treat your visit as opt-out. No banner. No negotiation.

Refuse to be profiled

Catch the scripts that try to identify your device.

ShieldMap flags Canvas, WebGL, and AudioContext probes the moment they run. Block per site, or everywhere.

How it works

Three steps.
Then it just runs.

01

Install.

Pin ShieldMap next to your address bar. Two clicks. No account.

02

Open a tab.

Every domain the page contacts is named and labeled as the map fills in. Color-coded by class. Nothing to configure.

03

Decide.

Opt out on every request. Cut the domains you don't recognize. ShieldMap is the instrument; the call is yours.

Inside the popup

Everything you need. In one popup.

Questions

Before you install.

01

What does ShieldMap do?

It turns the invisible side of the web — every tracker, ad domain, and analytics script your browser contacts — into a live map. You see the network behind a page, and decide what to allow.

02

Does ShieldMap send my data anywhere?

No. Everything runs locally inside your browser. There is no account, no telemetry, and no server. Your browsing history never leaves your device.

03

Why a map instead of a list?

A list tells you a number. A map tells you a story. Geometry shows which domains cluster around a single ad network, which fingerprinters fire on page load, and which requests light up only after you scroll.

04

Who is ShieldMap for?

People who want to see what their browser is doing, and prefer to decide for themselves. Developers, journalists, healthcare and legal professionals, and anyone who notices that a single news page is doing too much.

05

Does ShieldMap work alongside uBlock Origin?

Yes. ShieldMap is built for visibility and signal injection — it complements ad-blockers and tracker-blockers rather than replacing them. Run them together.

06

What is GPC?

Global Privacy Control is a browser-level opt-out signal. ShieldMap broadcasts it on every request, so compliant sites must treat your visit as opt-out — without a banner, without a click.

Install ShieldMap.
Decide for yourself.

Two clicks. No account. Everything runs on your device.

No tracking. No noise. One email when it ships.
